More great feedback!

Hi Julia,

I was soooooooooooo happy with my flowers - they looked amazing!!!! thank you so much it made my day. I was blown away by how fantastic the flowers were at Bistro C and the ceremony bamboo pergola was amazing. Thanks for making my day so awesome. Mum kept the flowers in her house for nearly 2 weeks after and they smelt beautiful. I’ve recommended you to everyone (a few of my friends are getting married at the coast this year and next).

Thanks again so much - I had a great day and in my opinion everything was perfect, I can’t thank you enough!

Rachel

When couples or brides take the time to give us such great feedback and wonderful compliments, it really makes the team smile!! We went all out for this wedding, so much so, that the staff needed a beer on Hastings Street when it was all done! We even saw the happy couple walking down the street with a tea of photographers trailing after!! haha

Gorgeous Flaxton Gardens Wedding captured by AWPP

October 1st, 2012 | Posted by Julia Hails in Posts - (0 Comments)

I love it when a bride says she wants ‘something different’, but classy, elegant and with lots of interest. For me, the opportunity to create bouquets that reflect this request is undeniably exciting. I love using texture, colour and shapes to create unique, one of a kind bouquets!

Thanks to Australian Wedding & Professional Photography http://www.awpp.com.au/, Meagan and Christian’s wedding at Flaxton Gardens in March this year was captured to perfection. Interesting angles, great composition and use of light are amongst the nicest elements of this portfolio.

Enjoy!

Lovely feedback from a lovely couple!

Hi Julia,

Thank you your email after the wedding, it was the best day! We had a couple of hiccups.. (a few little bridezilla moments haha) but one thing I didn’t have
to worry at all about was my flowers.. they were amazing. I have had some of the bridal bouquet preserved as I just could not throw it out. And thank you for going above and
beyond for us with the wishing well table and my great grandmothers necklace. I did mention how your little touches entwined within our wedding had made those aspects run so smoothly
in my speech even the little things like sending the ribbon to our cake lady. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I got so many compliments about our flowers and would not hesitate at all
to recommend you and your service to everyone I know. I hope you like the photos supplied by NKN Photography on our blog, there will be others coming to us so I will forward these to you when
I receive them. I loved the little personalized tags and note you left as well, I have kept them all!

Thank you. :)

September weddings!

September 27th, 2012 | Posted by Julia Hails in Posts - (0 Comments)

I do love September. Not just for the change in season; the light sea breeze that punctuates the afternoon sunlight; the cocktail in hand as we catch up with friends on the back verandah; the faster pace of work for the wedding season…

The best part of spring is the herald of new flowers, spring bulbs and blossoms that only ever appear at this time of year. I love the opportunity for the creation of bouquets that spell gypsy romance, country elegance or relaxed seaside.

Sunshine Beach, Queensland

August 11th, 2012 | Posted by Julia Hails in Posts - (0 Comments)

Windy weather couldn’t stop this happy bride from walking down the aisle at Sunshine Beach last Friday! Leah was a vision, and teamed with the beautiful flowers from the GLR studio, her rustic beachy style was captured exactly as she had imagined. Even the groom (who carefully oversaw the setting up of the reception) was enthralled with the fresh flowers and eye catching colours and textures.

The pictures say it all! Thankyou to Renee Brown (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Renee-Brown-Photography/152009271483413) for some lovely images!

A touch of gold

I simply love the opportunity to use colour! When you have nothing by yellow tulips, white lisianthus and yellow solidaster daisies left over from an expo, what else is there to do but make a luscious bouquet?!? I have been dying to use the ribbon I bought from the states over a year ago…this was the perfect opportunity!

Simply divine, I hope you agree!

Sunshine Coast Bridal Showcase

June 28th, 2012 | Posted by Julia Hails in Posts - (0 Comments)

We’ve had gorgeous weather up here on the Sunshine Coast! The weekend was perfect for the Expo, and we couldn’t have asked for a better turnout. HUGE thankyou goes to Sonia Johnson, Alison Cukovski and various others (you know who you are) for their support and most importantly TIME in helping GLR’s dream of an expo (and a flower dress) come true!

The Expo was a fantastic opportunity to meet some very enthusiastic and excited brides. It was also brilliant meeting fellow wedding suppliers to the Sunshine Coast. The Bride’s Tree, Ink Wedding Invitations, Cloud Nine Weddings, First Class Functions and many more!! Collaborative photo shoots, opportunities to expand and preferred suppliers…the list goes on. What a great way to network!!!
