I always love a bride who is daring with colour and texture. This gorgeous wedding was purely a bouquet and buttonhole - that’s all we created. However the vast array of gorgeous elements within the piece meant that the creation was without question, a highlight of the year. Rarely do I get a bride who is willing to be so open to the possibility of texture and colour combination. We used double tulips, cottage roses, lace roses, berries, sea holly, poppies and gum to produce a palette of red hues and immense textural variety. The wedding took place in Brisbane, but the bride had her mother drive all the way to the Sunshine Coast to pick up the bouquet and buttonhole that were to be the highlight of her nuptials. I am immensely grateful for being given the chance to create pieces like this - it is heart warming and inspirational yet challenging at the same time.
