stormy skies + moody hues
It’s no secret we absolutely LOVE Yandina Station for a country estate wedding. The surrounding grass fields, haunting trees, a still billabong and of course, most noteworthy, that iconic Fig Tree under which we have created many an eye catching backdrop.
This ridiculously beautiful affair was such a joy to work on. The main focus for this couple was to have flowers for the bridal party, and leave the fig tree bare for it’s majestic appeal and down to earth simplicity, hence colours of marsala, pink, oxblood and alabaster featured amidst rambling foliage and textural, seasonal elements. Cottage roses, andromeda and flowering blossoms in burgundy hues were chosen to create elegant handheld pieces of timeless romance. When the bride holds her bouquet with both hands, cradling it gently in her arms, you know we hit the mark on the brief!
Tender moments and a subtle rainbow were captured beautifully by Heart & Colour Photography.
