There was one thing Nat was absolutely adamant about - being a New Years Eve wedding, there had to be fireworks of colour! She wasn’t even that fussed about the bouquet - she just wanted her guests to enjoy the alfresco dining experience on their terrace, in Pelican Waters, under a plethora of colourful flowers and warm light.
The brief was something I was absolutely thrilled to put my creative mind to! An old door frame fitted with edison lightbulbs was the centrepiece, adorned with hundreds of stems of beautiful colour - including peonies, roses, hydrangea, dahlias, phalaenopsis and lilies; it made for the perfect fireworks ‘pièce de ré·sis·tance’.
Helped with some phenomenal photography by the gifted Emma Nayler Photography, and a superb backdrop of tea trees and Pelican Waters waterway, this wedding ticks all the boxes for a colourful, intimate and fun affair. Catering by Amici Cafe (the couples favourite restaurant).
We had fun with this wedding - enjoy!
